1. Leonardo Yenno I really like Miles and collaborating on his history with ya, but I gotta go with Leonardo. ~DuskNinjaKenji has a lot of OC's, mostly in groups, but Leo has come the longest way. He's developed a lot in both character and design. Every incarnation of him looks more like the police officer he was meant to be, and his relationships with other people really fills out his character. Since he is part of an RP group, those stories aren't online. But I like when Jamie tells me about them because the life that Leo continues to live is dramatic and fun to hear about.
2. Blood I know 90% of your gallery is Kami, but I have to admit that I always loved Blood's design. That and I'm a sucker for small girls with big hulking dudes. Her constant bleeding is interesting to me, and the way her face looks pained all the time I think attributes to that feeling.
3. Chuckie I love all your characters and even just the character designs you do, Mags. I have a lot of favorites, but I always come back to Chuck. I always found it intriguing how green his skin is, and the elbow spikes are a nice touch. I'd like to hear more about what happens to him, how he interacts with other people, I dunno. He's kinda dopey and new to the world and I think that's kinda adorable. Also the experiments done on him and...gosh he is just so cool.
4. Sock Snake I like sock snake because shut up.
But for real, I'm a sucker for silly designs like this. Taking something weird or doofy and just giving it all kinds of powers. Especially his toxic smoke that isn't actually that toxic...like why is that even a thing oh okay so he can fart, THAT'S HILARIOUS. That and he's pretty powerful and just all around wonky and augh. Great thing I want one.
5. Neyen I MEAN--I really like all your characters ADP, like Asthma and Ao, and the designs you've been doing lately are awesome (do those count as OCs...?). But, I always enjoyed Neyen and how she paints on the other terata's masks like jesus how endearing is that. Even without her mask ow wow what a cutie. And I guess it's because I don't see much of your other characters either? But her personality is kind and gentle, and I just want to be hugged by her and doodle and she seems like good company to keep ok.
6. Hercule Gosh this was tough to pick. You've been doing a lot of commissions lately, so we don't get to see much of your characters these days. :c I almost even featured Mick, cause gosh I loved that guy in Rise. C: But I jumped forward a bit to your GD cast, which made it harder cause I love Bahnoir and Azizi, but I ended up picking Hercule. BECAUSE HE'S ADORABLE. Also cause I've always been fond of his design. I think it's interesting that he's in among what looks like a normal, if not trigger-happy bunch of excentrics. I'm interested in what his story is and why he has this wicked great weapon with the runes on it. BRING BACK DA GREEN DETECTIVE PLS.
7. Nola I always really liked Freyr, but Nola really won my heart over the course of Idris. Her skills and interests, such a plain jane but she went quite far! She feels real to me, if not a bit too frantic. I like that she doesn't necessarily conquer her fears, but fights through them anyway (like when she was crying talking to Stratus asjfljk poor baby). Let's not forget she's also adorable as all get out. Little Dwarven angel. c:
8. Tayne SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM--but I gotta hand it to Tayne. Nervous wreck of a hardened soldier. I find that most people with soldier characters leave out the factor of shellshock so Tayne's a great breather from that. Not only his personality, but his design is convincing too. The way you put together the uniform is well thought out (just like all your other designs). I think my favorite part is him smoking a cigarette to honor his god. Those are two things I don't usually associate with each other: addiction and religion...hm. I will admit, Lyda was a close second.
9. Truman Oh hey, Tayne was Rumble Fest 2011 and Truman is 2012. xD Anyway, I had to think long about this one. You have a lot of really neat designs and I'm interested in your characters' stories, like Bo's the incarnation of all sheep fairy tales so are there others like him? Will we ever get to see Festival as that one happy dude he was built to be?! Trumans was the simplest one that you could see developed through the tourney even if only for a couple rounds. I think you had a lot of good expressions on him and the way you painted his story really set the mood. Truman's a character I could really feel and wanted to root for. PLUS HE'S WEARING A TIE AND BOWLER +10 dapper.

Appearance: Spike's skin is made up of a highly durable and flexible metallic alloy not found on earth. He has a muscular physique and large forearms that are covered with several spikes. There is a small socket located at the center of both of his forearms. Both of his sho Like I said in my previous feature, Spike's my favorite. Just the amount of detail you put into his backstory is interesting. His personality correctly reflects someone whose been reprogrammed to do Biotech's bidding. That stuff's messed, man. I also think his powers are pretty rad in general, like Armadon or something. HoN? Anyone? No? Okay. JUST IMAGINE THE SPIKES LAUNCHING OUT IN ALL DIRECTIONS WHOA.
11. Xella YEP, gotta love that crazy police chick. I actually remember her from that 24 hour comic you drew. I'm currently enjoying your Dragon Reign series, but Xella's charm and perkiness has stolen my heart. I also really enjoyed the photos meme you did of her. It gave insight to her history as well as her personality, and at the same time I want to know more (especially her time in the academy). Also, geez, that design is pretty damn great...what a babe.
12. Regan XAK YOU HAVE A LOT OF CHARACTERS WHO ARE ALL FANTASTIC SO THIS WAS BUTTS TO CHOOSE--but I have to give it to Regan. From start to now for CotG he's been a real trip. He's witty, fun, kinda weasel-y, but most of all empathetic. And I don't just mean his powers, but as a person he really takes those emotions in and cares for others. Sometimes being bombarded with feelings will make people numb to them, but he's the opposite really. Watching him struggle has been rough, but investing in Regan pays off. I can't wait to see what you have planned next.
13. Diva You have a lot of different incarnations of Diva, but this one has to be my favorite. I really love girls in armor (sans boobplates), and I actually really like those skirts that are longer in the back, so I enjoy that. Even though she's not really wearing pants, I can see it's more like a leotard, and how her outfit would benefit her grace/agility over straight armor. As for her backstory, I like the introduction of Lora here. It gives her more reason for being the Daeva Queen, which was curious in her other refs. I really wanted to see her story progress in Eden, but c'est la vie... I hope you show us her story someday soon! I'm also a sucker for pale girls with blue eyes and dark hair //sob
14. Gentleman I love your art, but to be honest I don't see many of your characters, so this was really a tossup between Gent and Stripes, and Gent won out. It's really because I got to see more of him in The City even if only for a brief while. His design is so unique with the spiked legs and giant chest piece...not to mention his expressive little 'stache. I'd like to hear more about him and Nelson! It's enjoyable reading and writing a good gentleman, haha. :9
15. Phena So like...I'm dying over here Apple, cause you always tell me about your adorable babies and how they're all amazing and I agree. BUT--over the course of time Phena has really grown on me. At first I didn't actually like her much because I thought she was honestly kinda whiny and just a stick-thin person who couldn't hold themselves. Very 2D. But, I've learned, and this was pretty fun for me, that she is a very realistic person. Apple has a great way of writing real (mostly but not limited to awkward) situations. Phena is an empath who doesn't have a say in whether she wants to feel the way others around her are feeling. Being alive is emotional enough without having to literally deal with other people's emotions. I think this is rough on her, and she has every right to be tired, uncomfortable, or even annoyed at times. But she can usually hold her own, and fight through someone else's tears. It's really strong of her. That and she's not just girly or organized ALL THE TIME. Yes she has punctuality and a certain level of standard, but every now and again she goes casual, and we all have days like those. So it's fun to hear that "today Phena went to karaoke with Sarrekket and had too much to drink" or something like that. I also love the fact that she's a "low-grav human" so her body structure reflects that. I HOPE WE GET TO SEE MORE OF YOUR ASCENSION BABIES APPLE PLEASE WRITE AND DRAW ABOUT THEM AND THEIR ADVENTURES KLSDJFASHGLKA! ♥
